Jan Merlin

Alan's artistic journey began at École Boulle in Paris, where he developed a passion for design. With degrees in Applied Arts and Event Design, he joined the vibrant world of startups at Deezer's graphic studio. Looking for a break from digital, he rediscovered his love for drawing with friends from the École des Beaux-Arts.

Through live modeling sessions, he honed his skills and built on his early experiences. After his move from Deezer, Alan became art director at BETC Digital. His sketching project "Attention à la marche" gained prominence and his work was featured in exhibitions and publications.

Alan is also engaged in architectural drawing, which he has cultivated since his youth. In 2019, he turned over a new leaf with his family and moved to Toulouse. As Creative Director at Verywell, he has found a balance between work and creativity. As a member of Urban Sketchers Toulouse, he found community and inspiration.
