About me
My name is Aline and I’m the founder of Bright Future Gallery. I live between Bern (Switzerland) and Paris (France) and have nurtured a passion for art and design since I was a child. This led me to study Art History in Paris and complete a master’s degree in Cultural Management in Lucerne. Over the years, I’ve worked for various brands and galleries and currently work in marketing for a globally recognized brand.
The idea of creating an art initiative had been with me for a long time, but it was during the pandemic that I finally had the time and space to bring it to life. Suddenly, everything was being bought online — and I thought, why not art too? One of the reasons I chose to build an online gallery is that it allows me to pass the majority of each sale directly to the artist, while keeping my own margin modest and fair.
My Vision
Since the beginning, it has been very important to me that I only sell high-quality art that is either original works or signed, limited editions. I wanted to give people an alternative to the art posters and prints that you can buy in large editions. These prints are often of poor quality and are printed directly in big factories without the artists ever having held them in their hands. In my opinion, this type of art is neither sustainable nor respectful of the artist. I have very close contact with all my artists and therefore know how much heart and soul they put into their work. This art is not just a short-lived trend but should last a lifetime.
